Entering the cottage on the ground floor, you’re greeted by an inviting living space with TV area (including DVD player and WiFi access), stepping down to a practical kitchen (complete with dishwasher a freezer) as well as a downstairs shower room with double sinks, a utility area with washing machine-tumble dryer, plus separate WC.

We’ve tried to consider the little extras that mean you don’t need to bring everything with us, such as matches, kitchen roll, toilet roll, bin bags, washing powder, and household detergents, as well as some essentials for breakfast (tea, coffee, sugar and hot chocolate) and of course a few condiments including the famous local Guérande salt! Babies are very welcome here, and we can provide most of the equipment you’ll need for their stay (simply ask us for a list). For older children, there are also books and games in the cottage.

An open-tread staircase takes you to the first floor. Up under the eaves you’ll find three bedrooms as well as an open space that can be used as an, extra bedroom. Brin de chaume is a spacious room in warm colours and natural, straw textures, with a double 160×200 bed (which can be set up as two singles); the window looks onto the garden and the photos show the surrounding landscapes. Grain de sable is another 2-person room with a double 160×200 bed that can be set up as two singles; it’s a calm room in which to recover from a hard day’s relaxing. Fleur de sel has a homely charm thanks to its family furniture and garden views. It has a queen-size bed of 120x185cm. Finally, La cabane is an open space with a single bed, where you’ll also find all the books and games.

A couple of things to note: this is a traditional, authentic cottage with low ceilings under the beams, and rooms on slightly different levels connected by steps. The staircase has open treads and leads directly off the living room. There are two shady parking spots. For eating out, there is a good-quality Auberge bistronomique just 500m away. Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets, and this is a non-smoking establishment (please respect this). Bedding and household linen supplied, and beds are made up ready for your arrival.
